Position Overview:

The Odoo Developer (plays a critical role in the development, customization, and maintenance of Odoo to support business operations. This position requires advanced Python programming skills, Odoo module customization experience, and the ability to integrate Odoo with other business systems. The developer will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and actively contribute to the development of products and services, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and technical operations.

· Drive continuous improvement by initiating and implementing changes in the software development process to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

· Address complex performance issues and critical architectural challenges, providing scalable and maintainable solutions.

· Design and develop impactful applications and features that enhance everyday user experiences.

· Design and develop Odoo applications, including both new module development and customization of existing modules.

· Analyze scope documents to understand project objectives and technical requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed low-level requirement documents.

· Adhere to best practices in software development to ensure code readability, maintainability, and scalability.

· Leverage existing Odoo features to effectively meet project scope and minimize redundant development.

· Develop custom Odoo modules tailored to specific business or domain requirements.

· Utilize Git for version control, following established source code management and review processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and core programming concepts, with practical application in ERP development.
• In-depth understanding of Odoo architecture and its basic functional and technical flow.
• Extensive knowledge of Odoo core data models and ORM structure.
• Proven expertise in custom module development tailored to specific business requirements.
• Solid techno-functional knowledge of Odoo, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
• Experience developing in the latest Odoo versions, with excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience in Odoo version migrations, ensuring data integrity and feature compatibility.
• Functional knowledge across multiple Odoo modules, including:
• Sales, Purchase, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, Projects, Timesheet, and HR.
• Proficient in Odoo front-end development, including XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templating.
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL, with the ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries.
• Experience with view customization, including working with widgets, wizards, JavaScript, and XML views.
• Skilled in creating custom and Q-Web reports for advanced reporting needs.
• Proficient in data handling using Odoo’s import tools as well as custom data imports via Python scripting.
• Experienced in using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Comfortable working with Linux-based operating systems for development and deployment.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

· 1+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.

· Proven experience in Odoo development and business process customization.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
