Job Description

Develop, customize, and maintain post-processors for Siemens NX CAM using Post Builder and Post Configurator tools to ensure accurate and optimized CNC output for various machine tools
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, CNC programmers, and machine operators to analyze requirements and fine-tune post-processors for complex machining operations
Debug, validate, and test post configurations to guarantee precise machine motion and code compatibility with controller standards such as FANUC, Siemens, and Heidenhain
Troubleshoot G-code/M-code discrepancies and enhance performance through detailed analysis and iterative testing
Implement process automation, integrate custom scripts, and maintain version control for all post files to support efficient manufacturing workflows
Provide documentation, training, and technical support to end-users to ensure effective post usage and modification capability
Collaborate with PLM and CAD/CAM teams to ensure seamless data flow between design, manufacturing, and production environments
Stay updated on the latest NX releases, post configurator updates, and CNC technology trends to continuously improve machining quality, efficiency, and reliability
