NPD - CNC Setting & Programming

As an experienced CNC Lathe Operator in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in ensuring on-time sample submission and high-quality production of new components. Your responsibilities will include setting and programming CNC Lathe machines, conducting cycle time and process estimations, selecting tools and machine parameters, and developing turning components efficiently. You will be expected to work closely with the team to achieve targets and meet time plans while minimizing cycle time and costs. In case of any issues during the development of new components, you will be responsible for implementing corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, your role will involve identifying lessons learned for future activities and analyzing failure modes to take appropriate actions. To qualify for this position, you should have a DME/ITI/+2 qualification with extensive working and setting experience in CNC Lathe operations. Knowledge of MS Office, CAD 2D/3D, and experience in the Sheet Metal or Machining industry would be advantageous.
