About the Role:

Senior Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
scalable and high-performance backend services
using Node.js.
Architect
microservices-based solutions
, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
Build and optimize
RESTful and GraphQL APIs
for frontend and third-party integrations.
Implement
secure authentication/authorization mechanisms
(OAuth, JWT, SSO).
Work with
databases
(SQL & NoSQL: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
Optimize
application performance
and troubleshoot complex issues in production.
Ensure
code quality
through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Product Management).
Mentor and guide junior developers, contributing to
best practices and coding standards
.
Drive
CI/CD pipelines
,
cloud deployments
(AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Must-Have Skills:

10+ years of experience in
backend development
, with at least 6+ years in
Node.js
.
Strong expertise in
JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
, and asynchronous programming.
Deep knowledge of
Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks
.
Hands-on experience with
SQL & NoSQL databases
(MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
Expertise in
API design and integration
(RESTful & GraphQL).
Strong understanding of
event-driven architecture, message queues
(Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
Experience with
cloud services
(AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency with
Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
.
Strong knowledge of
containerization & orchestration
(Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent
problem-solving, debugging, and optimization
skills.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of
serverless computing
(AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Cloud Functions).
Experience with
DevOps practices
and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
Exposure to
front-end technologies
(React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack understanding.
Knowledge of
unit testing frameworks
(Mocha, Jest, Jasmine).
Familiarity with
security best practices
in backend development.
