Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable applications and RESTful APIs using modern backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Implement ORM frameworks like Sequelize and Mongoose for database management.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js (good to have Hapi.js or Restify).
• Solid understanding of SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Sequelize and Mongoose.
• Knowledge of REST API design principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Good to Have:

• Experience with other frameworks like Hapi.js or Restify.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
