Job Description

Role: Backend Developer Intern

Location: On-site

Duration: 6 Months

Department: Backend Engineering / API Development

Location: Ihub,Navrangpura, Ahmedabad

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Backend Developer Intern who is eager to work on scalable backend systems using Node.js and NestJS (v10). You will help design and maintain secure APIs, database schemas, and server-side logic powering our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend modules and REST APIs using NestJS
Work with PostgreSQL database and manage schema updates using TypeORM
Implement authentication and role-based access controls using JWT
Integrate and support payment gateway operations (e.g., Razorpay)
Monitor, test, debug, and optimize backend server performance
Collaborate with frontend and QA teams during feature rollout
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following project guidelines

Required Technical Skills

Good understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
Familiarity with Node.js basics (Express or similar framework experience is okay)
Conceptual clarity on RESTful APIs and request/response structures
Basic knowledge of SQL databases (CRUD, joins, tables)

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience with NestJS framework
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and TypeORM migrations
Understanding of JWT authentication, access tokens, and session handling
Familiarity with Git version control
