Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications and APIs using

  Node.js (Express.js / NestJS)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan, and execute development tasks.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms across multiple systems.
• Create and optimize database schemas and complex SQL queries to support business processes.
• Integrate and manage third-party services like payment gateways, SMS gateways, etc.
• Ensure code quality and performance through regular code reviews and unit testing.
• Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver projects on time.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and maintain clean, well-documented code.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based services.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve application performance.

Key Skills

• 4+ years of experience in developing web applications and APIs.
• Strong proficiency with

  Node.js

  and

  Express.js / NestJS frameworks

  .
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design concepts.
• Expertise in MySQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms and best practices.
• Experience working with XML/JSON and integrating third-party APIs.
• Knowledge of implementing and managing microservices-based applications.
• Strong understanding of SQL Injection, XSS prevention, and overall application security best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and working in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Repository and Service patterns in Node.js applications.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS.

Good to Have

• Experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Indexing.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Front-end skills in Angular/ReactJS, HTML, CSS (responsive design), JavaScript/jQuery.
• Comfort with Linux command-line tools.
