Description

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Node.js and will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications that support our front-end systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Node.js applications.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Implement and manage database systems to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development.

Skills and Qualifications

3-6 years of experience in Node.js development.
Proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
