• Proactive monitoring of network devices like routers, switches & links.
• Perform normal startup and shutdown of routers, switches, and modems.
• Track existing IOS & patch installation in coordination with AMC vendors.
• Build and configure redundant links/equipment (switches & routers) to minimize downtime.
• Configure new authentication using Cisco Secure ACS (TACACS).
• Monitor router CPU usage, memory usage, bandwidth, and packet errors/drops.
• Follow up on unresolved incidents with end users, vendors, or onsite engineers.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to L2 engineers.
• Perform router, switch, and modem reconfiguration.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure WAN uptime.
