Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Security Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in firewall implementation and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cisco Firewalls or Fortinet/Fortigate and any other firewall technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, Implement, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet/Cisco firewall solutions (ASA, FTD, Firepower, etc.).
Exposure to any other firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point) is a plus.
Monitor and respond to network security incidents, resolve firewall and VPN issues.
Firewall policy management
Perform policy updates, access rule creation, and log analysis.
Document configurations and create operational runbooks.
Communicate with vendors in case required any support to fix operation issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project rollouts and troubleshooting.
Perform version upgradation, patch update & SOC device restoration.
Degree BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics or higher with related certifications.
