Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:
Monitoring & Ticketing Tools:
Proficient in using network monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Enterprise 360.
Experience with ticketing systems like Manage Engine for incident and change management.
Wireless Infrastructure:
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Meraki Wireless Access Points and their controller systems.
Routing (Cisco & Juniper):
Good hands-on experience with Cisco routers and associated routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and Static Routing.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Juniper network devices is an added advantage.
Switching (Cisco):
Strong experience with Cisco switches and Layer 2 technologies such as VLAN, VTP, STP, Trunking, and Ether Channel.
Firewall & Security (Fortinet):
Expert-level hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls, including configuration and management of:
IPSec Tunnels
SSL VPN
NAT
Web Filtering
Dynamic Routing (e.g., BGP)
Proficient in managing FortiGate through both CLI and GUI.
Solid knowledge of FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer platforms.
Familiar with Fortinet NAC solutions and underlying technologies.
SD-WAN Technologies:
Strong understanding and hands-on knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN, including link/tunnel failover mechanisms.
Working knowledge of Versa SD-WAN is an advantage.
Networking & ISP Coordination:
Familiarity with different WAN technologies such as MPLS, Internet Leased Lines (ILL), and Broadband.
