Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Network Operations & Maintenance

Manage and monitor network performance across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments.
Perform L2 troubleshooting for escalated network issues from the service desk.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Handle network outages, latency issues, and bandwidth utilization concerns.
Participate in planned maintenance activities, network upgrades, and patch deployments.

2. Configuration & Implementation

Configure routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP.
Implement VLANs, trunking, STP, EtherChannel, and other switching technologies.
Manage firewall policies, NAT, ACLs, and VPN tunnels (IPsec/SSL).
Support deployment of new network solutions and optimizations.
Assist in VoIP, wireless, and SD-WAN configurations.

3. Security & Compliance

Monitor and mitigate network vulnerabilities and threats.
Work with security teams to implement security standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic network audits and maintain documentation.

4. Monitoring & Documentation

Use tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, Wireshark for monitoring and diagnostics.
Maintain accurate records of configurations, physical diagrams, and logical topology.
Prepare incident reports, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and change requests.
Update runbooks/playbooks for L1 support.

5. Collaboration & Support

Provide guidance and technical help to L1 network engineers.
Work closely with systems, cloud, and security teams for integrated solutions.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, NAT.
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, HP, or similar networking devices.
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, SonicWall, Sophos).
Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud).
Ability to analyze packet captures and troubleshoot network traffic.
Strong experience on Meraki, cisco ACI and ISE
Good stability in each company with minimum 3 years
Immediate Joiner preferred ( Candidate from Mumbai Only)

Certifications (Preferred)

CCNA (mandatory or strong knowledge equivalent)
CCNP (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
