Network Engineer

Work Model: Shift-based (24×7 coverage – rotational shifts)

About:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Engineer to join a specialized team supporting a large-scale migration from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. The role involves ensuring robust and secure network connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments to facilitate seamless data migration and ongoing traffic flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network connectivity between on-prem and Azure environments during the migration program.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VPN, DNS, and firewalls to ensure secure and uninterrupted communication.
• Work with F5 Load Balancers to optimize traffic distribution and ensure application availability.
• Collaborate on configurations involving Cloudflare Load Balancer and VMWare AVI (preferred but not mandatory).
• Participate in a 4-member network engineering team providing 24×7 support through rotational shifts.
• Proactively identify and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to coordinate changes and resolve escalations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in networking.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Solid expertise in VPN, DNS, and firewall configuration and management.
• Proven experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Exposure to Cloudflare Load Balancer and VMWare AVI is a plus.
• Experience in hybrid cloud networking, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and motivation to work in high-availability environments.
