Network Data QA Engineer

Your role will involve generating, coordinating, and executing test plans for next-generation router products. The primary objective is to ensure that the released software and hardware implementations meet customer requirements, approval, and certification criteria. As a suitable candidate, you should possess 2-5 years of hands-on experience with L2/L3 Network equipment in various testing aspects such as Functional, System, Performance, and Scale. It is essential to have experience in production testing of core data network elements and Cisco core network routers. Hands-on experience in L2/L3 Technologies like MPLS, BGP, IPv4, IPv6, as well as proficiency in Linux, are also required. Your responsibilities will include taking test delivery ownership for a feature or a group of features. This entails understanding end-to-end feature requirements at both the individual and architecture level. You should have an in-depth knowledge of the hardware and protocols involved, their dependencies, and their role within the product architecture. Furthermore, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the impact of requirements across various releases. You should be confident in challenging architects and questioning every requirement for its validity and completeness towards the deliverable. Your tasks will involve developing, executing, and automating test plans to validate customer use-cases and product capabilities and requirements. This will include manual and automation end-to-end feature testing, ensuring that test cases cover the complete landscape of the feature being tested. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the sufficiency of the test environment in terms of traffic generators, cards, and system setup, making sure it is ready for the completion of work. Timely delivery of manual and automation test results within given quality parameters is crucial for this role.,
