Network Architect Engineer

As a Network Architect Engineer (Senior) in the Office Connect team at EY, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for validating, lab testing, certifying, and working with Network, Infosec, Legal, and vendors to provide Wi-Fi technology solutions and improvements for the Office Connect Network portfolio. Your role will involve integrating solutions with WAN, LAN, WLAN, DC, and overall NW infrastructure to fulfill business strategy and needs. Additionally, you will provide consulting services to other teams, act as a Level 4 escalation point for operational issues, and collaborate with support groups like Netops, Infosec, and vendors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as the trusted advisor and key player across network teams - Drive architectural design for LAN and Wi-Fi technologies - Provide L4 escalation support for data network services globally - Diagnose and resolve complex network issues - Develop and validate solution design and configuration documentation - Collaborate to create global technology standards and reference architectures - Stay updated on industry trends and new technology offerings - Manage projects from conception to implementation - Perform bug scrubs on software for LAN/WLAN devices - Monitor network health and performance metrics - Utilize data-driven decision making for network upgrades and optimization - Anticipate network failures through predictive maintenance **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in Network Design or Architect teams - Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline - Advanced skills in planning, designing, and troubleshooting complex network environments - Strong interpersonal and team working skills - Ability to communicate complex technical information to a diverse business audience - Industry accreditation like CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, or equivalent - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English At EY, you'll work in a globally diverse team with opportunities for growth and development.
