.Net Architect with Strong AWS

As a Senior .NET + AWS Solution Architect, your primary role will involve leading the application modernization efforts of a legacy .NET Framework-based application. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving the transformation by creating and executing a comprehensive modernization roadmap. - Providing technical guidance across three critical tracks: - Migrating large SQL Server tables (250GB+) to AWS DocumentDB for seamless C# Windows Service integration. - Overseeing migration of legacy Windows Services (.NET Framework) to AWS ECS containers. - Redesigning data flows to replace Mainframe static data with AWS DocumentDB. - Defining and delivering a long-term architecture strategy covering aspects such as: - Migration of on-prem virtual machines to AWS EC2. - Migration of on-prem MySQL servers to AWS RDS. - Transitioning from stored procedure-based logic to microservices architecture. - Modernizing UI with the latest frameworks. - Modernizing reporting & analytics with modern BI tools. - Planning for High Availability including primary/replica DB, DR strategy. - Migrating Windows Service-based rule engine to AWS Serverless (Lambda + Step Functions). - Designing AWS architecture with a focus on scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness for Cloud Cost Optimization. - Collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure alignment with performance and business goals. - Engaging with stakeholders to present architecture decisions, risks, and trade-offs effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of IT experience with expertise in software architecture & solution design. - Proven experience in modernizing ASP.NET Framework applications & Windows Services. - Hands-on expertise with various AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, DocumentDB, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM. - Strong background in cloud migration projects including lift-and-shift, containerization, and refactoring. - Expertise in databases like SQL Server, MySQL, DocumentDB/MongoDB, with deep knowledge of data migration strategies. - Familiarity with mainframe integration and dependency elimination. - Understanding of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture. - Experience in designing HA, replication, and disaster recovery strategies. - Ability to provide cost-conscious architecture recommendations balancing performance & scalability. - Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional team management skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.,
