NC Programmer

Job Title: NC Programmer (CNC Programming – Mould Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize NC programs for CNC machines using SolidCAM, NX, Delcam PowerMILL, and/or Mastercam.
• Analyze 3D models and 2D drawings to develop accurate and efficient machining strategies.
• Program components related to glass moulds with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and surface finish.
• Handle multiple jobs simultaneously, prioritizing based on deadlines and production requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the design, tooling, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot and modify programs as necessary to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Maintain documentation of all programs and updates as per internal standards.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards at all stages of programming.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in NC/CNC programming, preferably in mould or precision component manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise with either SolidCAM, Delcam PowerMILL, and/or Mastercam.
• Strong understanding of tool paths, cutting strategies, and CNC machining operations.
• Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Experience in the mould manufacturing industry, especially for glass bottles.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation is a plus.
