n8n Workflow Automation Developer

As an n8n Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automation workflows using the n8n platform. You will be responsible for integrating APIs, developing custom nodes, and optimizing automation processes to enhance business efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and deploying automation workflows using n8n.io - Creating custom nodes and integrations to expand n8n functionality - Integrating third-party APIs, databases, CRMs, SaaS platforms, and internal tools - Monitoring and maintaining existing workflows for performance, error handling, and scalability - Collaborating with product managers and engineers to identify automation opportunities - Documenting workflow logic, integration steps, and deployment procedures - Ensuring data security, access control, and compliance with organizational standards - Conducting testing and debugging of automation logic In terms of qualifications, you should possess: - 2+ years of hands-on experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Apache NiFi) - Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth2, and JSON - Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript - Experience with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and version control - Understanding of automation in business processes such as lead generation, email campaigns, data pipelines, etc. Preferred qualifications include experience in developing custom n8n nodes or plugins, exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless frameworks, and familiarity with microservices or backend development.
