Multicloud Architect

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS & Azure)

• Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, VPC, SGs, ELB, Storage Gateway, DMS) and Azure (Storage Accounts, SQL Managed Instance, SQL DB, Azure Monitor, ARM).
  
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using

  CloudWatch

  ,

  Azure Monitor

  , and

  Oracle Enterprise Manager

  .
• Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM governance, encryption, and network security.
  

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Develop and maintain

  Terraform modules

  for AWS and Azure provisioning.
• Work with

  CloudFormation

  and

  Azure Resource Manager (ARM)

  templates for consistent deployments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployments, and database lifecycle operations.
  
• Write automation scripts using

  Shell

  ,

  Python

  ,

  Bash

  ,

  Groovy

  , or Java.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Integrate automated build, test, deployment, security scanning, and quality gates.
  
• Administer Jenkins environments: plugin management, security configurations, and performance tuning.
  

Monitoring & Operations

• Customize and administer tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and OEM.
  
• Configure alerts, alarms, dashboards, and performance KPIs.
  
• Support off-hours maintenance activities and critical production issues when required.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Cloud:

  AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, VPC, ELB, Storage Gateway, DMS), Azure (Storage Accounts, SQL MI, SQL DB, Azure Monitor, ARM)

• Automation/IaC:

  Terraform (expert level), CloudFormation, ARM Templates

• CI/CD:

  Jenkins (admin + pipeline creation), Bitbucket

• Scripting:

  Shell, Python (mandatory); Bash, Groovy, Java (preferred)

• OS/Networking:

  Linux, networking fundamentals, security groups, cloud networking

Non-Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
  
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
  
• High accountability, ownership, and a solution-oriented attitude.
  
• Flexibility to support weekend/holiday maintenance when necessary.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
  

• 10+ years of IT experience
