Job Description

Role Overview

Drive MuleSoft-based integrations end-to-end, from design and development to testing and deployment, while partnering with business analysts in the banking domain. Mentor developers, uphold code quality, and ensure stable, secure releases.

Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on MuleSoft development and deployment experience
Solid coding and testing skills
Good understanding of banking processes to collaborate effectively with BAs
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Passion for mentoring and leading development teams
Experience with API-led connectivity, Anypoint Platform, RAML, and DataWeave
Unit testing using MUnit and mocking strategies
Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins/Git/Maven) for Mule deployments
Experience deploying on CloudHub or on-prem Runtime/Runtime Fabric
Familiarity with REST/SOAP, error handling, logging and performance tuning

Responsibilities

Design and develop Mule flows, APIs and integrations aligned to API-led connectivity
Create RAML/OAS contracts and implement transformations using DataWeave
Write unit/integration tests with MUnit; ensure code coverage and quality gates
Plan and execute deployments to CloudHub/onprem; automate via CI/CD
Collaborate with BAs and SMEs in banking to refine requirements and define acceptance criteria
Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices
Troubleshoot defects and production issues; implement robust error handling and logging
Document technical designs, deployment runbooks and support guides
