MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Expertise

Experience in designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

Design and implementation using Anypoint Studio

API-led connectivity and RAML specifications

DataWeave for data transformation & Experience with Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager

Integration Architecture

Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, ESB patterns, and microservices

Ability to design scalable and secure integrations between cloud and on-premise systems

Familiarity with Mule 4 and migration from Mule 3 (if relevant)

DevOps & CI/CD Knowledge

Experience with MuleSoft deployment models (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, Hybrid)

Git, Jenkins, Maven, and other CI/CD tools

Monitoring and logging (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Anypoint Monitoring)

Security and Governance

OAuth2, JWT, SAML, API policies and governance

Role-based access, encryption, and secure data flows

Broader Technical Stack

Knowledge of Java (since Mule is Java-based)

Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP

API Management and lifecycle best practices

Understanding of REST, SOAP, JMS, and other integration protocols

Architectural & Project Experience

Experience leading integration design and architecture decisions

Designing enterprise-level integration solutions

Knowledge of design patterns (e.g., faade, circuit breaker, retry mechanisms)

Previous work in large, distributed environments and with legacy modernization

Soft Skills & Certifications

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Mentoring and reviewing developers work

MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect is a big plus
