Job Description

As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you'll play a crucial role in providing managed services to ensure our clients" IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to support our clients effectively. You will be monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, addressing errors promptly, and executing maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support, ensuring smooth shift handovers, and contributing to continuous service improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems. - Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to address errors promptly. - Execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes. - Provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support for clients. - Ensure smooth shift handovers for continuous service. - Identify optimization opportunities for incident resolution and process improvements. - Occasionally support project work and disaster recovery functions. Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP. - Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis. - Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes. - Strong planning skills and adaptability to changing environments. - A client-focused approach and excellent communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience.
