Motion Graphic Designer & Video Editor

The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our content production team. As a Video Editor at EduTalks, you will be a key player in transforming raw footage into compelling and polished educational videos that captivate our audience. This is an exciting opportunity for a storyteller with a strong eye for detail and a passion for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage from multiple sources (camera footage, screen recordings, stock videos, etc.) into a cohesive and engaging final product.
• Manipulate and edit video pieces to tell a clear and compelling story, ensuring a seamless and logical flow.
• Add and synchronize music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the viewing experience.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, scriptwriters, and producers to understand project goals and deliver a final product that meets the team's vision.
• Manage and organize video project files and assets efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, trends, and techniques to continuously improve our content.
• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks to ensure a high standard of quality.
• Export and format videos for various platforms, including YouTube, social media, and our internal learning platform.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of editing styles.
• Expert proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Solid experience with motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Demonstrable knowledge of timing, continuity, and storytelling.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and engaging content.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• A strong interest in educational content and a desire to contribute to the mission of making learning accessible.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an EdTech, media, or content production environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects Primer pro).
• Experience with color grading and advanced audio editing techniques.
• Knowledge of various video codecs, file formats, and best practices for web delivery.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹34,043.59 per month
