Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Autodesk Moldflow Expert

Preferred candidate profile

Perform advanced Moldflow analyses including
fill, pack, warp, and cooling simulations
.
Collaborate with product design and tooling teams to optimize part geometry and mold design for manufacturability.
Interpret and present simulation results with clear recommendations.
Troubleshoot existing mold/tooling issues using simulation insights.
Support material selection based on simulation performance.
Validate simulation predictions with actual mold trial results and adjust models accordingly.
Create detailed reports and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop and maintain Moldflow templates, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualification

Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering

3 to 8+ years

Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and tool design.

CAD tools

Understanding of thermoplastics behavior under processing conditions. Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, tooling, and manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Moldflow certification (Professional/Expert Level) from Autodesk.
Experience with multi-cavity tools, sequential valve gating, or conformal cooling simulations.
Exposure to other CAE tools like
ANSYS
Hands-on experience in mold trials or toolroom troubleshooting is a plus.
