Management (MDM) product. This role is a blend of strategic architectural leadership

and hands-on, low-level technical execution. The person will be responsible for defining

the technical vision and roadmap for our product while also contributing directly to its

development, with a specific emphasis on the Go programming language.

Core Competencies

Technical

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar senior technical leadership

role, preferably within a software product company.

• Strong hands-on experience in backend software development, with a minimum of

3+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang).

• Expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems, microservices, and

APIs.

• Deep understanding of MDM principles and related technologies (e.g., Apple Push

Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, device enrolment programs,

device policy management) covering Android, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, Windows,

Chrome OS, and iOS devices.

• Familiarity with smart wearable device ecosystems, including communication

protocols (e.g., Bluetooth LE) and data handling.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Knowledge of

containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is

essential.

• Solid grasp of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.

Non-technical

• Excellent communication skills

• Good team player

• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and the ability to influence

technical direction.

• Experience with cryptography and secure coding practices is highly desirable.

• Ready to work across multiple time zones.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Architectural Strategy & Design: Define and own the technical architecture and

roadmap for the MDM product. This includes system design, component integration,

data architecture, and security protocols for a diverse range of devices, including

smartphones, tablets, and smart wearables (e.g., smartwatches, AR/VR headsets,

specialized health monitors). Ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and

maintainable.

2. Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to the codebase, writing high-quality,

efficient, and well-documented code in Go. This includes developing core backend

services, APIs, and microservices.

3. Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and technical mentor for the

engineering team. Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote

best practices in software development.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering

teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical

specifications and architectural designs.

5. Innovation & Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry

trends, particularly in MDM, wearable technology, cybersecurity, and cloud-native

architectures. Evaluate and propose new technologies to improve our product.

6. Performance & Scalability: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and

scalability challenges within the system. Design solutions that can handle a large

number of connected devices and high-volume data traffic, including the unique data

payloads from smart wearables.

7. Customer Implementation & Success: Act as a senior technical advisor for key

customer implementations around the globe. Work with the customer success and

support teams to address complex architectural challenges during product

deployment.

a. Implementation Strategy: Provide guidance on best practices for deploying the

MDM product in various customer environments (e.g., on-premise, cloud, hybrid).

b. Troubleshooting: Serve as a top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues

that arise during customer rollouts, providing deep architectural insight to resolve

problems.

c. Feedback Loop: Gather direct feedback from customers regarding implementation

challenges and product pain points. Translate this feedback into actionable items

for the product and engineering teams, influencing the product roadmap to ensure

long-term customer success.Role & responsibilities
