About the Role:

Role Description:

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) + Associate Instructor – React Native (Mobile App Development) to join our Computer Science Department at Rishihood University (Sonipat)

This role is designed for engineers with 2+ years of industry experience in mobile app development using React Native, who are passionate about building impactful applications and mentoring students. The position combines hands-on coding expertise with academic responsibilities, including teaching, conducting labs, and guiding students in building scalable cross-platform mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Development & Delivery: Teach and support modules on Mobile App Development with React Native.
• Hands-on Labs: Conduct coding labs to help students build mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native.
• Mentorship: Guide students in app design, state management, API integration, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaboration: Work with faculty and industry mentors to ensure the curriculum reflects modern React Native practices.
• Student Success: Support student projects, review code, and ensure graduates are industry-ready mobile developers.
• Innovation: Encourage students to explore modern libraries, performance optimization, and UI/UX best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of professional experience in mobile app development using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and React Native.
• Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or Recoil).
• Familiarity with API integrations, navigation, storage, and third-party libraries in React Native.
• Knowledge of mobile app deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Ability to explain React Native concepts clearly to students.

Good-to-Have:

• Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Expo, Firebase, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Understanding of native modules and bridging in React Native.
• Passion for education, mentoring, and student success.
