Role Overview

Responsibilities

Technical Vision & Leadership

• Define technical direction for the Generative AI function and establish best practices.
• Drive innovation and experimentation across GenAI and multimodal solutions.
  

AI Strategy & Roadmap

• Shape the AI roadmap and identify high-impact business use cases for generative AI.
  

Model Development

• Develop and deploy large language and generative models for:
• Multimodal document understanding
• Structured data extraction
• Large-scale automation workflows
  

Multimodal Innovation

• Work on models across text, images, and 3D data to solve complex real-world challenges.
  

Scalable Engineering

• Build data pipelines and training frameworks for large-scale data and model workloads

  .

Cloud-based Deployment

• Train, optimize, and deploy GenAI models using AWS and cloud-native microservices.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to convert AI into real products.
  

Mentorship & Team Growth

• Coach team members on advanced ML techniques, model architecture, and engineering excellence.
  

Research & Exploration

• Stay current with advances in GenAI, foundation models, and deep learning bringing new ideas into production.
  

Qualifications

• 1

  0 - 12 years of total industry experience, including 5+ years focused on ML / AI
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative Models, and/or Vision Transformers
• Experience with multimodal AI (text, images, 3D data preferred)
• Hands-on working knowledge of:
• Python
• PyTorch / TensorFlow
• Pandas, NumPy
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and optimization
• Experience deploying ML systems on cloud microservice architectures (AWS preferred)
• Strong software engineering skills:
• Object-oriented programming
• CI/CD & testing
• Version control
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience in supply chain / manufacturing / enterprise systems is a plus (not mandatory)
• Passion for innovation and solving complex business problems using AI

Good to Have

• Experience with

  distributed training & GPU environment

• Exposure to

  model optimization & quantization

• Contributions to open-source or ML research projects
• Publications, Kaggle profile, or strong GitHub portfolio
