Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal materials, primarily mild steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Set up welding machines based on job requirements. Measure and cut materials to specifications. Inspect welded surfaces and structure for quality and accuracy. Perform grinding, cutting, and other fabrication tasks as needed. Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns. Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time. Requirements:Proven experience as a MIG welder or similar role. Proficiency in using MIG welding equipment and tools. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in welding and metal fabrication. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications:AWS certification or technical training in welding. Experience with other types of welding (TIG, Stick) is an asset. Familiarity with fabrication machinery like plasma cutters, grinders, and shears.
