Mgr - Quality & Testing (IN)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the test automation team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Tosca, and API testing tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using Java and Python.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
• Manage testing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions for the team..
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools, particularly Selenium, Tosca, and API testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Java and Python.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 5+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 2+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in system/software quality and testing or Computer System Validation testing.
