Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain messaging platforms (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Outlook, MS Teams).
Design and implement messaging infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
Monitor email traffic and messaging systems for performance, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve messaging-related issues, providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate messaging systems with other enterprise applications.
Ensure compliance with data retention policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation and support incident response for messaging services.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Lead or support messaging-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and cloud), Office 365, and Active Directory.
Familiarity with messaging protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and security standards (TLS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Experience with email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast).
Understanding of networking fundamentals and DNS.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate.
Experience with hybrid messaging environments and migrations to cloud platforms.
