MERN Stack Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer to build and maintain the backend of our Job Portal application. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and scalable architecture.

You will work closely with the frontend and mobile development teams to design efficient APIs and ensure smooth data communication across web and Flutter applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend architecture for the job portal using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs for authentication, job postings, user profiles, and applications.
• Integrate MongoDB for data storage and manage complex data models efficiently.
• Implement JWT-based authentication for employers and job seekers.
• Optimize backend performance and scalability to support up to 100,000 users per month.
• Collaborate with frontend (React/Flutter) developers for seamless API integration.
• Implement AI APIs or ML models (optional) for job recommendations and resume analysis.
• Handle cloud deployment (AWS, Render, or Firebase Functions) and basic DevOps tasks.
• Ensure data validation, error handling, and security best practices are followed.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js, MongoDB, and Mongoose.
• Understanding of REST API design and architecture.
• Familiarity with authentication (JWT, OAuth) and authorization flows.
• Experience in API testing with tools like Postman.
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Render, or Vercel) for backend hosting.
• Knowledge of AI API integration (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, or custom models) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building job portals, e-commerce, or SaaS applications.
• Understanding of serverless architecture or microservices.
• Familiarity with Socket.io for real-time notifications.
• Knowledge of Flutter or React frontend integration is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
