Job Description

Key Responsibilites

Designing and developing web applications using the MERN stack components.
• Responsible to prepare high-level technical design artifacts for platform-levelinitiatives• Develop high-quality code (e.g. adhering to SOLID principles) with plenty of testsand observability baked-in.• Implement secure and scalable solutions using AWS serverless technology.• Monitoring application performance and responding to incidents• Optimize your teams development, and delivery experience, so you and your teamcan be as productive as possible and regularly deploy to production.• Optimizing application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in thecodebase.• Implementing techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching to improveuser experience.• Technical owner of Epics of all sizes, sometimes involving more than oneworkstream.• Should be able to lead technical architecture and implementation of platform-levelinitiatives• Responsible and dependable to take on challenging tasks with minimal supervision

  • Work in a collaborative environment where you regularly pair, plan, and execute tasks
    as a team and strive to optimize your team’s Lead Time, Deployment Frequency,Mean-time-to-recovery, and Change Failure Rate.• Actively participate in enhancing processes by consistently offering improvementsuggestions during team retrospectives.• Independently manage your deliverables in JIRA without others’ involvement.What you need to succeed• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.• 5+ years of professional experience delivering secure applications in an agileenvironment.• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs using NodeJS and/or TypeScript in OpenAPI specifications.• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript to build interactive and responsive userinterfaces.• Experience with AWS services, CDK/Terraform is a must.• Experience working with Docker in development.• Understanding of event-driven microservices architecture.• Experience working in Agile and Kanban/Scrum processes.What Diligent Offers You• Creativity is ingrained in our culture.
