Position Overview:

Senior MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and complex web applications built on the MERN stack.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring smooth integration with external systems.
• Architect solutions with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers to improve overall team capability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features within set timelines.
• Enhance and optimize existing applications for improved performance and efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to improve development processes and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with proven expertise in the MERN stack.
• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with front-end tools and frameworks such as Redux, Webpack, and responsive UI libraries.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication protocols (JWT/OAuth), and database schema design.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with expertise in debugging and performance optimization.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, or Next.js.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using project management tools such as Jira.
