7 Cavalry is looking for a dynamic and organized Merchandiser and Operations Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the entire merchandising process, production oversight & management, material procurement, and dispatch operations. Key Responsibilities:

● Merchandising & Product Planning:

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies for men's apparel collections, ensuring alignment with brand vision.
• Coordinate product assortments, track inventory levels, and manage product life cycles from development to market launch.
• Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure product availability.

● Factory & Production Oversight:

• Assist in operationalizing the production unit in Tirupur, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to timelines.
• Oversee production processes, ensuring that product quality, lead times, and delivery schedules are maintained.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure all production targets and deadlines are met.

● Material & Vendor Management:

• Manage procurement of fabrics, trims, and other materials, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are allocated effectively for production.

● Dispatch & Logistics Management:

• Oversee the dispatch of finished goods, ensuring timely deliveries to customers and warehouse locations.
• Coordinate logistics with shipping and courier partners for efficient dispatch operations.
• Manage and optimize the warehouse and dispatch workflows to minimize delays and errors.

● Quality Control:

• Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout production and dispatch to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and material use.
• Work with production teams to address and resolve any quality issues.

● Learning & Development:

• Be involved in various aspects of the business, offering a unique opportunity to develop operational and strategic expertise in the fashion industry.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

● 5+ years of experience in merchandising, production management, or operations in the fashion or apparel industry.

● Strong understanding of the production process, supply chain, and material management.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory management software.

● Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
