Mep Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer MEP

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Engineer MEP to manage and execute Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-Fighting, and C&I (Controls & Instrumentation) works for our interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP activities are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design intent, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, schedule, and execute C&I and MEP works (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and related services) across project sites.

* Review MEP design drawings, BOQs, and specifications; coordinate with consultants and design teams for technical clarifications.

* Supervise site execution, testing, and commissioning of all MEP and C&I systems.

* Coordinate with civil, architectural, and interior teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.

* Prepare work progress reports, material requisitions, and maintain documentation for all project stages.

* Conduct quality checks and ensure all installations meet relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

* Manage contractors and vendors for timely completion of works.

* Monitor resource utilization and control project costs within approved budgets.

* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory norms during execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Experience: 1-3 years of experience in C&I and MEP coordination and project execution, preferably in interior fit-out or construction industry.

Technical Skills:

* Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire-fighting, and C&I systems.

* Proficiency in reviewing drawings, load calculations, and technical submittals.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Soft Skills:

* Excellent project coordination and communication skills.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Team-oriented with leadership capability.
