MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Responsible for the execution of mechanical installation works, pumps, dewatering machines, mechanical screens and other mechanical equipment and maintenance works according to the instructions of his foreman

QUALIFICATIONS

10 years of experience in a similar position.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Good communication skills in English and Arabic is plus.

Efficient analytical skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, move and modify electro-mechanical equipment, according to job order specifications, standards and procedures.

Perform major site functions and activities.

Carrying out site installation activities and repairing fault in equipment and machinery if found.

Have Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the installation and dismantling of equipment and repair of piping systems.

Have knowledge of piping systems including pipes, fittings and related materials and accessories.

Receives Job order from foreman and complete the task within the agreed time frame

Undertakes service installation

Provide emergency service operation

Undertake assembly repair and service to the mechanical equipment to ensure that it will fulfill customer requirements

Ensure that all the mechanical spare parts are available

Undertake service or installation of mechanical equipment following company procedures.

Completes all formal tests and checks shown on Company documentation and obtain signature of completion of the job

Assemble and test all equipment before issue to the client.

Comply with operating and safety policies and procedures.
