Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
4 - 8 years in procurement within the
Industrial Automation/SPM
industry.
Strong knowledge of
machining processes, sheet metal fabrication, welding and structural manufacturing
.
Proficiency in
ERP systems
(SAP, or similar).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies for
machining, sheet metal, fabrication and weldment components
.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings.
Collaborate with design, production and quality teams to ensure component specifications and standards are met.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain accurate procurement records and manage purchase orders through
ERP systems
.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and safety regulations.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in the supply chain process.
