Mechanical Engineer (Assembly & Trials)

Role Objective

assembling, testing, and conducting trials

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Fabrication

• Perform

  mechanical assembly of machines, sub-assemblies, and fixtures

  as per drawings.
• Work with precision tools, fasteners, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical components.
• Fit and align parts accurately to ensure proper working of the system.

Testing & Trials

• Conduct

  dry runs and machine trials

  under supervision.
• Identify and resolve

  assembly or alignment issues

  during trials.
• Assist in machine

  debugging, fine-tuning, and performance verification

  .

Quality & Documentation

• Follow

  assembly drawings, BOM, and quality standards

  during execution.
• Maintain assembly checklists and trial reports.
• Ensure adherence to

  safety protocols

  during assembly and testing.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with

  design, purchase, and automation teams

  for project execution.
• Assist Project Engineer during

  customer inspections and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)

  .
• Provide support during

  dispatch, installation, and commissioning

  at client site if required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of

  mechanical assembly, fits, tolerances, and machine elements

  .
• Ability to read and interpret

  engineering drawings & 3D models

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation components

  (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with

  mechanical tools, gauges, and measurement instruments

  .
• Teamwork, problem-solving, and willingness to work on shop floor.

Qualification & Experience

• Education:

  Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience:

  0-3 years in mechanical assembly, automation, or machine building.
• Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
