Mechanical Design for STPs & WTPs: Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for municipal sewage treatment plants (STPs) and water treatment plants (WTPs), covering primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment processes
Hydraulic & Process Equipment Design: Design and size pumps, blowers, aeration systems, sludge handling units, filtration systems, and chemical dosing systems
Piping & Layout Design: Create piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), general arrangement (GA) drawings, and detailed piping layouts ensuring process efficiency
Sludge Handling & Treatment: Design sludge thickening, dewatering, digestion, and disposal systems for efficient solid waste management
Equipment Selection & Specifications: Select and specify valves, actuators, mechanical screens, clarifiers, diffusers, and pressure vessels as per project needs
Mechanical Calculations & Analysis: Perform pump hydraulics, pipe sizing, pressure drop analysis, and mechanical stress analysis
Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs comply to IS Codes and other municipal water & wastewater treatment guidelines
Coordination & Documentation: Work with Process, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation and Civil teams for seamless integration of mechanical systems
Tender & BOQ Preparation: Develop technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for mechanical components
Vendor & Site Support: Review vendor drawings, assist in technical evaluations, and provide design support during execution
