Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Create designs in 3D and derive technical product documentation for
  components in complex Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment, related high-tech, or other related industries. o Module assemblies o Sub-module assemblies o Single mono parts o Bolt calculations o Material and process evaluation
• Participate in of contribute to design reviews as part of the development process.
• Participate in design verification activities.
• Ensure adherence to relevant engineering standards, codes, and project guidelines.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, machine conditioning) to ensure alignment deliverables and receivables.
  

• Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design..
• Hands-on experience with CAD tool Siemens NX and TeamCenter.
• Proficiency in preparing and checking engineering calculations and reports.
• Familiarity with international design codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO, DIN).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.

  Experience:

  3 to 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment, related high-tech, or other related industries.
