Role & responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Martech Specialist with 6+ years of expertise to support our marketing technology (MarTech) stack and related integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing integrations between different marketing automation platforms, event management tools, and data systems. This role requires a strong background in data flow management, API usage, and SQL, coupled with excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:Martech Stack Management:
- Manage and maintain various Martech tools, including but not limited to
Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), HubSpot
, and event management tools. - Handle day-to-day troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of Martech platforms and their integrations.
- Ensure platform stability, user access, and compliance with marketing and data governance standards.
Integrations and Data Flow:
- Design, implement, and manage seamless integrations between marketing platforms and internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, event platforms).
- Monitor and optimize data flow for consistency, accuracy, and reliability across systems.
- Leverage
platform APIs and SQL
to manage data exchange, build automation workflows, and create custom integrations. Proficiency in marketing automation tools like Marketo, SFMC, and HubSpot
, with experience in integration tools such as Zapier and Workato
, along with a strong understanding of platform APIs.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end Martech projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery.
- Document project scope, technical requirements, and timelines; manage execution to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, IT, etc.) to align project goals and expectations.
Communication and Documentation:
- Develop technical documentation, data flow diagrams, process maps, and user guides.
- Act as the central point of contact for Martech initiatives, offering guidance and troubleshooting support to internal teams.
- Present complex technical concepts in a clear, non-technical manner to stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
- Use deep knowledge of APIs, databases, and SQL for platform customization, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
- Continuously research and recommend new MarTech tools or features to enhance marketing performance and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with global teams including marketing, sales, and IT to align Martech capabilities with business goals.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Martech management, particularly with
tools like Marketo, SFMC, Salesforce, HubSpot
, or similar platforms. - Strong technical expertise in
API integrations, SQL, and data architecture
. - Proven track record of leading Martech projects across multiple platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Experience working with
event management tools/platforms
(preferred).
Additional Skills:
- Experience with
integration platforms
such as Zapier, Workato, Tray.io
(preferred). - Understanding of
data privacy regulations
like GDPR, CASL, and how they apply to Martech implementations. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with
cross-functional, global teams across time zones
