Job Description

Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test cases.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like
JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
.
Collaborate closely with development and product teams to resolve issues.
Execute test cases manually and verify bug fixes.
Prepare detailed
test reports
and provide feedback to stakeholders.
Ensure all testing activities adhere to QA best practices and standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

35 years
of experience in
Manual Testing
.
Strong understanding of
SDLC
and
STLC
processes.
Experience with
defect tracking tools
(e.g., JIRA, QC, TFS).
Familiarity with
test case design techniques
and
test documentation
.
Exposure to
API testing
(Postman) and
database validation (SQL)
is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Certification in
ISTQB / Software Testing
(preferred but not mandatory).
