Manual Tester Web & Mobile Applications

Job Description: As a Manual Tester for web and mobile applications in the Quality Assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless user experience of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously test applications, identify bugs, and collaborate with the development team to enhance the overall quality of our software. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases. - Conduct manual testing on both web and mobile platforms, including Android and iOS. - Perform various types of testing such as functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Utilize tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar to identify, log, and track defects effectively. - Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to address and resolve issues. - Generate detailed test reports, provide valuable insights, and recommend improvements. - Actively participate in agile/scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications. - Profound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Practical expertise in testing on Android and iOS devices. - Familiarity with browser developer tools and responsiveness testing. - Knowledge of APIs and experience with tools like Postman would be advantageous. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong analytical abilities. - Proven experience in creating and maintaining test documentation. Good to Have: - Exposure to cross-browser and cross-device testing methodologies. - Familiarity with accessibility and performance testing tools. - Basic understanding of automation concepts or a willingness to learn and adapt to automation practices.,
