Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Manual Tester

to ensure the quality and functionality of our products through thorough testing and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

Create, maintain, and execute

manual test cases

and

test scenarios

Perform

functional, regression, integration, UI, usability, and system testing

Identify, record, and track

bugs or issues

using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.

Participate in

test planning

test estimation

, and

test reporting

Validate fixes and perform

re-testing

of resolved issues.

Ensure test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.

Provide feedback on usability and suggest product improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

1-3 years of experience

in manual software testing.

Strong understanding of

SDLC

STLC

, and

defect life cycle

Experience with

test management and bug tracking tools

(e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

Basic knowledge of

SQL

and ability to validate data in databases.

Good understanding of

web and mobile application testing

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
