Manual Test Engineer

Location

• Analyze requirement documents to identify test scenarios and create detailed test scripts and test suites using Selenium with Java
• Perform requirement analysis and develop comprehensive test cases for manual testing
• Identify gaps in requirements, communicate with the team to clarify ambiguities and resolve discrepancies
• Take ownership of data collection, cleansing, validation and setup to ensure seamless execution of test activities
• Manage the test environment to maintain integrity throughout the testing phase until closure
• Analyze test results to assess database impacts, identify errors or bugs, and ensure usability
• Provide daily bug reports and track test completion percentages, communicating progress to project stakeholders
• Manage the defect lifecycle using tools like DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
• Deliver test artifacts with high accuracy, including test cases, traceability matrices, test summaries, execution sheets, and bug reports
• Work effectively within various project approaches, such as Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions with the team

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications in a live project environment
• Proven expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
• Result-oriented mindset, willing to undertake new challenges and responsibilities
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivery excellence

Terms & Conditions:

• Candidate should sign 1 year bond
• 3-months notice period
• Candidate should submit 1 bank cheque by mentioning 3 months salary on cheque
• Must relocate to Vijayawada
