Manager Software Engineering - Java

Role Overview: At Next Gear India Private Limited, a subsidiary of CoreLogic, we are seeking a Manager of Software Engineering who is passionate about utilizing technical solutions to address business challenges. This role requires expertise in agile development practices and a strong commitment to taking ownership of software products and platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to drive both transformational and operational initiatives, focusing on innovative InsureTech solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies on the Google Cloud Platform. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement software products for the Insurance and Financial markets. - Motivate and lead a high-performing team to achieve outstanding results while fostering individual growth. - Lead teams in building and launching products in highly scalable growth markets. - Drive organizational change within a fast-paced technology company. - Collaborate with business product leadership to develop strategies and technology roadmaps. - Engage with clients at senior levels, managing relationships and navigating across services. - Develop IT solutions aligned with the company's strategic architecture. - Manage vendor solutions and deliverables. - Responsible for delivering complex Product/Application Engineering projects. Qualifications Required: Experience: - Total experience of 14-16 years - 5+ years of experience in Java, Postgres, GCP, and Angular/React, etc. - 10+ years of progressive experience in Product and/or Software Development. - 5-8 years of experience leading technology teams. - Minimum 3 years of support in cloud-based data technologies. Education: - A BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree is highly preferred. Technical Expertise: - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, ELK stack, GCP, Kubernetes, Anthos, etc. - Familiarity with SaaS, Infrastructure as Code, Google Cloud Platform, Vue.js, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Sql Server stack. - General experience with Selenium, BDD Framework, Gradle, Maven, Java, Python, Postman, etc. Industry Experience: - Background in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is preferred.
