Manager, Product & Engineering - Accounting Technology Data Engineering

Role Overview: You will be leading a team of Data Engineers, SREs, and Operations staff to support T-Mobile's Accounting and Finance Technology platforms. Your responsibilities will include people management, delivery oversight, and ensuring operational excellence to ensure the smooth operation of financial systems and applications in alignment with Finance business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of engineers and operations staff, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support. - Ensure project deliverables and operational commitments are met on time, with high quality and compliance. - Oversee the smooth running of Accounting and Finance platforms, ensuring adherence to SLAs for availability, reliability, and data accuracy. - Ensure effective resolution of incidents, coordinate root cause analysis, and track corrective actions. - Ensure the team follows established engineering, SRE, and operational best practices such as code reviews, change management, monitoring, and compliance. - Assign work across the team, balancing project and operational demands. - Track and report on team progress, system performance, and operational metrics to senior leadership. - Identify opportunities for process automation, tooling improvements, and efficiency gains. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 7-10 years of experience in technology roles, with 2-3 years in people management of engineering or operations teams. - Experience managing delivery of technical projects or supporting mission-critical systems. - Familiarity with financial systems, accounting platforms, or financial data pipelines. - Strong understanding of operational practices including incident, problem, and change management. - Solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to partner with both technical teams and business stakeholders.,
