Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Agrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in monitoring, maintaining, and improving our equipment reliability, while minimizing downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Workplace Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations within the Agrochemical industry, fostering a safe working environment.

Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and monitor maintenance schedules, ensuring that all machinery is regularly serviced and maintained to avoid production disruptions.

Team Support: Assist and guide the maintenance team in the installation and setup of machinery, providing necessary training as required.

Work Order Management: Prioritize work orders, plan maintenance tasks, and ensure efficient repair scheduling to minimize downtime and disruptions in production.

Software Proficiency: Utilize SAP for work order management and other related tasks. Proficient in MS Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for reporting and documentation purposes.

Quality Management: Implement and contribute to Total Quality Management (TQM) activities, including Kaizen, 5S practices, and Quality Circle projects to ensure continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).

Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in the agrochemical or manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of SAP, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with industry-specific maintenance tools and practices.

Quality Practices: Understanding and experience in TQM practices, including Kaizen, 5S, and Quality Circle methodologies.
