Role & responsibilities

Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Specialist with 4 to 8 years of experience in Mainframe technologies COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM to design develop and maintain robust mainframe applications within a dynamic IT environment

Analyse business and technical requirements to architect effective mainframe applications

Ensure code quality by adhering to organizational standards and best practices

Collaborate with cross functional teams including business analysts QA and infrastructure teams for seamless project delivery

Participate in system analysis and performance optimization initiatives

Document technical specifications design documents and process flows for developed solutions

Stay updated with advancements in mainframe technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrate effective communication skills and engage with stakeholders as required

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform code reviews troubleshooting and debugging to resolve production and development issues

Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Work closely with application and database teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow Support user acceptance testing UAT and provide warranty support

post deployment Interact with upstream and downstream teams to resolve technical and business issues

Balance support and enhancement activities ensuring timely delivery of both Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing
