Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
Utilize JCL for efficient job control and batch processing.
Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and debugging.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Strong expertise in Mainframe development with at least 4 years of experience.
Proficiency in COBOL programming with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience.
Experience with JCL and its application in job control and batch processing.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a mainframe environment.
Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies

Note
:
Availability to join within a 1-month notice period.

Good to have skills:

DB2, CICS, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, REXX
